Argentella Beach
Take the coastal road between Calvi and Galeria, discover steep cliffs, secluded coves, and Nichjaretu beach. You will arrive at Argentella, a site named after ancient silver mines.
The bay of Crovani and its pebble beach are a haven of peace away from civilization. Enjoy the sea, the sun, and tranquility. The Marina d'Argentella hotel offers you a natural and peaceful stay.
It is an ideal place for families and romantic getaways. Despite the summer crowds, it retains its wild and intimate character.
If you are curious, explore this historical site. The trail begins at the castle of Prince Pierre Bonaparte, built on the ruins of the Genoese tower Torre Mozza. Continue to the ruins of the old mine for a panoramic view of the sea and the bay of Crovani. The site owes its name to the silver-bearing lead once extracted. A mineral preparation plant was also present, active from 1856 to 1930.
You can walk on the trail to see the ruins of the plant and admire the view, but we advise against going to the entrance of the mine.
