The Chef
Vincent Champ
From the warmth of family kitchens to culinary excellence
If you ask a Corsican from Aregno who the greatest Chef in the world is, he will undoubtedly answer: "My Mom." So if we were to go back to the origins of our passion, it is undoubtedly to them that we owe it. A simple cuisine made from good products and above all with a constant desire to please. This selflessness is an inheritance that has never left me and that I try to pass on to my teams; cooking as if it were for your children, for those you love!
Cooking, long before being a profession, is a passion. A consuming and demanding passion, which drives us to excel at every moment, to be curious, inventive, constantly in search of new tastes, unknown fragrances, exquisite flavors.
It was while working in Parisian palaces such as the "Georges V" or "Le Fouquet's" that I discovered the world of French gastronomy and developed my passion for cooking. Subsequently, I continued my journey to Savoie, to Courchevel, where I perfected my techniques and know-how in Michelin-starred restaurants, such as "Kintessence" and "Montgomerie", alongside great chefs.
Discovering Corsica, its generosity, its terroir, its culture, its fragrances... I decided to settle here, in Lumio.
