Since 1980, the Rugani family has been growing and harvesting olives on the land bordering the Padule lake in Oletta. Initially intended for family or local use, production has gradually expanded to satisfy growing demand throughout Corsica. The olive trees, which include endemic Corsican varieties such as Ghjermana, Sabina and Biancaghja, are carefully cultivated with respect for the land and ancestral traditions.
