Raphaëlle's orchard
Short supply chain
A haven of nature and authenticity in eastern Corsica
In the heart of the splendid Plaine Orientale region of Corsica, Raphaëlle's Orchard radiates like an oasis of biodiversity and artisanal know-how. This small family operation, run by Raphaëlle Peignier, embodies the very essence of living in harmony with nature.
At Raphaëlle's Orchard, respect for nature is at the heart of every gesture. No chemical weedkillers here, just careful soil management and organic enrichment. Olive, hazelnut and fig trees thrive in a preserved ecosystem, where biodiversity is encouraged by the presence of plant hedges and sustainable farming practices.
The fruits of Raphaëlle's orchard are true treasures of the Corsican terroir. The hazelnuts benefit from the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Noisette de Cervione-Nuciola di Cervioni, while the olive trees produce an olive oil with the PDO Huile d'Olive de Corse-Oliu di Corsica label. Handcrafted on site, these fruits are transformed into oils, flours, cookies, spreads and many other delicacies.
At Raphaëlle's Orchard, work is done on a human scale and with passion. Every stage, from harvesting to bottling, is carried out with meticulous care. The fruit is picked in small groups, processed in small batches, then bottled and labelled by hand. This artisanal approach guarantees the quality and authenticity of each product.
For Raphaëlle and her team, the Verger is much more than a farm: it's a place to meet, share and enjoy. Curious visitors and gourmets are warmly and enthusiastically welcomed in the small farm store. It's an opportunity to discover the fruit of a whole family's labor, and to share a moment of simplicity and exchange, in the heart of Corsican nature.
A visit to Raphaëlle's Orchard promises an authentic experience, where the beauty of the landscape mingles with the richness of the flavours, to the delight of the senses.
