The art of indulgence at Cateri
Located in the charming village of Cateri, Biscuiterie Salvatori is a popular destination for lovers of Corsican specialties. Founded in 1969 by Jean and André Salvatori, this artisanal cookie factory celebrates over 50 years of gourmet tradition with passion and expertise.
At Biscuiterie Salvatori, the taste experience begins right at the door. You'll find a wide assortment of Corsican delights, from canistrelli to tourtellini, not forgetting olioses, those little salty cookies perfect for aperitifs. Open all year round, the store warmly welcomes visitors 7 days a week in summer, offering a complete immersion in the captivating world of Corsican flavors.
The workshop, adjacent to the boutique, is where Marie-Do, her husband JB, along with their parents André and Angèle, and their team of artisans, meticulously craft each cake and cookie. From the arrival of the raw materials to the packaging, everything is done in front of your admiring eyes, in a friendly and joyful atmosphere. Production is entirely artisanal, with every gesture performed by hand with love and devotion.
For the Salvatori family, quality is essential. Carefully selected raw materials guarantee the authenticity and unique flavor of our products. Partnerships with local producers ensure first-rate ingredients, creating cookies and cakes renowned far beyond the island's borders.
Canistrelli and tourtellini, the stars of the cookie factory, are available in a variety of mouth-watering flavors. From the traditional with white wine to the more original with olives or Corsican cheese, each bite is a celebration of taste that delights lovers of good food. For aperitifs, olioses, delicious salted canistrelli, are available in several flavors, offering a tempting alternative to the usual sweet cookies.
Biscuiterie Salvatori's delicacies are not just for the inhabitants of Ile Rousse.
